100 Ghost Stories Counting Down To Halloween! 26 Nights Left! "Malcolm In My Pocket"

When no one was looking, Malcolm, who was a visitor from out of state stuck a small chunk of a hardened lava rock in his pant pocket. His family stood around taking pictures together with their selfie sticks while he ventured off a few feet away from them. Once everyone got their pictures, they all jumped in the rental van and headed back to their hotel in Kona. On the way, Malcolm began to feel a burning sensation on the top of his thigh. The feeling only intensified once they drove through the Ka’u district. The young boy couldn’t take it anymore and he screamed at his parents to pull the van over. By the time he pushed his way out of the vehicle his pants were smoking. He couldn’t tear his trousers off soon enough; his poor family stood there dumbfounded while Malcolm jumped up and down in pain. The boy wanted to prove to his family that the old wives tale about not taking lava rocks from the volcano was stupid nonsense.  He didn’t realize he’d stolen a piece of rock that was still smoldering on the inside. It burned a hole right through his pants.

Malcom’s family was terrified to see that the mark it left on his leg looked like the profile of a woman with wild hair. To makes things worse, it seemed to have turned it’s head and looked directly at them.
